FIREPASS ELEMENT
FOR PASSAGE OF FLUES TO THE ROOF OR SLABS IN COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL

The FIREPASS system by De Marinis can be classified as a real safety accessory, the function of which is to prevent overheating and/or fires in combustible materials (wooden beams, grafts, beads, etc.) adjacent to the specific place of installation of the complete flue system.

When to use:

The PASSANTE system is certified in exclusive combination with De Marinis insulated systems (ISO 25 – ISO 25 COPPER): it is composed of a high-density ceramic wool cupel coated with aluminum which creates an effective barrier
protective against heat, avoiding the possibility of fire spreading by direct induction.
The system is then held in place by a centering collar with inclination adjustment and protective ceramic felt, with an internal finishing rosette in laser-shaped stainless steel complete with ceramic paper.
If compared to other systems, FIREPASS is cheaper and, above all, almost invisible as the insulating element is between the centering element and the lower rosette.
FIREPASS can only and exclusively be used in combination with ISO25 insulated double-wall pipes

How to install:
Drill the installation surface, making sure that the opening created corresponds to the
external diameter of FIRE PASS. Place FIRE PASS inside the hole made, fixing it to the surface with high temperature putty. Install the ISO 25 / ISO 25 COPPER flue system inside the FIRE PASS, securing it at the top with the appropriate centering collar, appropriately connected to the flue system by positioning it between the two supplied ceramic rings. Shape FIRE PASS according to the dimensions of the material to be crossed (inclination and thickness) eliminating the excess. Finally, position the finishing plate, not forgetting to place the protective ceramic paper before it.
