The “SLIM PASS” element by De Marinis can be classified as a real safety accessory, the function of which is to prevent overheating and/or fires in combustible materials (wooden beams, grafts, beads, etc.) adjacent to the specific place of installation of the complete flue system.

When to use:

The SLIM PASSANTE is certified in exclusive combination with De Marinis insulated systems (ISO 25 – ISO 25 COPPER): positioned inside the roof pitch or the slab to be crossed, it creates an effective protective barrier against heat, avoiding the possibility of spread of a fire by direct induction. In the test simulation, a fire spreads inside the flue system with a duration of up to 30 minutes: by using the PASSANTE article in combination with the fume exhaust, even in this fortuitous case, the safety conditions to avoid a fire are effectively created induced.

How to install:

Make a hole in the cover with a diameter equal to the external diameter of the item. Position the PASSANTE perfectly in the center of the hole, adjusting the fixing tabs based on the slope of the pitch and the thickness of the covering surface.
Finish by installing the appropriate flap and flashing.
