Antologhia Window handles

Antologhia window handles by Colombo Design reinterpret traditional window hardware through brass designs coordinated with the main families of the Antologhia collection.

The range includes versions for different window mechanisms, plate configurations and frame types, maintaining the same design language as the corresponding Antologhia door handles.

Antologhia window-handle configurations

Standard versions
Traditional window-handle configurations available with different mechanisms depending on the model.
DK versions
Versions intended for compatible tilt-and-turn window mechanisms.
CRDK versions
Specific variants available on selected collections and mechanisms.

Each product code identifies a specific configuration, so the code, mechanism and version should always be checked before ordering.

High plate or low plate

High plateA taller external configuration selected according to the window mechanism and frame design.
Low plateA more compact configuration which, on compatible models, requires the mechanism to be recessed into the window frame.

The choice is therefore both aesthetic and technical and depends on the construction of the window.

Coordinated door and window hardware

A key feature of Antologhia is the possibility of coordinating door and window hardware within the same collection.

Depending on the family, the same design may be available as a door handle, window handle, knob, pull handle, door knocker or other matching accessory.

Collections and styles

The category includes families such as Accademia, Barocco, Bellagio, Busiri, Byblos, Ottocento, Palatino, Roma, Settecento and Venezia.

From restrained to decorative designs

Settecento and Palatino use more compact, restrained proportions, while Roma, Barocco, Byblos and Venezia feature richer decorative details.

Brass, traditional workmanship and Made in Italy

Brass is the principal material used throughout the Antologhia collection.

Colombo Design combines contemporary manufacturing with traditional and manual finishing processes, particularly on more decorative models.

Natural brass and other untreated finishes can evolve over time and develop a characteristic patina.

How to choose the correct window handle

  • standard, DK or other required configuration;
  • high or low plate;
  • whether the mechanism must be recessed into the frame;
  • available dimensions and clearances;
  • selected finish;
  • matching door hardware from the same Antologhia collection.

New and existing windows

On a new window, the handle can be selected together with the window mechanism and hardware.

For an existing window, check the installed mechanism, existing holes, plate space, recess requirements and mechanical compatibility before ordering.

A similar appearance alone does not guarantee compatibility with the existing window hardware.

Tilt-and-turn window handles

The Antologhia range includes DK versions intended for specific compatible tilt-and-turn window mechanisms.

Compatibility must always be checked against the actual mechanism installed in the window.

Made-to-order products

Many Antologhia window handles are made to order according to collection, mechanism and selected finish.
