A hydro wood fireplace transfers part of the heat generated by log combustion to the water-based heating circuit through an integrated heat exchanger.
It can be integrated with radiators, fan coils, compatible radiant heating, thermal storage and other correctly designed hydraulic systems.
Termopalex HWT incorporates a 130-litre water capacity within the appliance.
Termopalex HWT is designed as an open-vented hydro fireplace with an integrated stainless-steel open expansion vessel on the primary circuit.
The appliance uses a 16-flue-tube heat exchanger with turbulators to transfer combustion heat to the boiler water.
The combustion chamber is lined with Thermofix® refractory material.

Domestic hot water should therefore not be assumed to be an integrated function of every Termopalex configuration.
S78 and S86 differ primarily in firebox dimensions, output and water-heating performance.
The correct model should be selected according to actual building and heating-system demand.
When selecting a hydro fireplace, distinguish between total useful output and useful output transferred to water.
The water-output value for the exact certified version is particularly important when sizing radiators, thermal storage and the complete hydraulic system.
Termopalex can be integrated with a correctly sized buffer tank or thermal-storage system where required by the hydraulic design.
A conventional Ecomonoblocco mainly heats living spaces directly, while Termopalex HWT is designed primarily to supply a water-based heating system.
