CADEL Hydro Pellet Fireplace Inserts

CADEL Saturno hydro pellet fireplace inserts are built-in Pellet Hydro appliances designed primarily to heat water for a compatible central-heating system, while also releasing part of their useful output directly into the installation room through front ventilation.

The range includes Saturno 16 and Saturno 24, both supplied with an integrated hydraulic kit, 40 kg pellet hopper, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and top flue outlet.

Saturno 16

Saturno 16 has 18 kW nominal output and up to 13 kW useful output to water.

Front ventilation

Saturno uses front room ventilation in addition to hydraulic heating, allowing part of the useful output to be released directly into the installation room.

Integrated hydraulic kit

Both Saturno models include a hydraulic kit for connection to the heating system.

The integrated kit does not replace correct hydraulic-system design.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are integrated on both Saturno 16 and Saturno 24.

Daily and weekly programming and external thermostat connection are also provided.

Adjustable pellet loading

CADEL describes Saturno as featuring an adjustable pellet-loading system, which should be considered when designing the fireplace surround.

40 kg pellet hopper

Both models use a 40 kg pellet hopper.

Cast-iron burn pot

Saturno uses a cast-iron burn pot as part of its certified combustion system.

Top flue outlet

Both models use a 100 mm top flue outlet.

Choosing between Saturno 16 and Saturno 24

The key difference is the output transferred to the heating system: Saturno 16 provides up to 13 kW to water, while Saturno 24 reaches 19 kW.

Domestic hot water

Saturno primarily heats technical water for the central-heating circuit.

Domestic hot-water production requires a dedicated hydraulic configuration and should not be assumed to be a standard direct function.

Italian environmental rating

Saturno 16 and Saturno 24 currently carry an Italian 4-Star environmental rating under D.M. 186/2017.

Incentives

Any incentive eligibility must be checked for the exact certified model and complete replacement project.

Flue and chimney system

Both models use a 100 mm appliance flue outlet, but the complete chimney must be sized according to the specific installation.
