Thermorossi Pellet Fireplace Inserts

Thermorossi pellet fireplace inserts are designed to upgrade compatible existing fireplaces or form the firebox of a new built-in installation, combining automatic pellet feeding, room ventilation and warm-air ducting.

The current range includes ESPRIT 490 EVO6, ESPRIT 540 EVO6, ESPRIT 600 EVO6 and ESPRIT Infinity, with different dimensions, outputs and hopper capacities.

Current ESPRIT models feature Thermorossi technologies including the patented PelletPower® self-cleaning burner, fan-assisted room heating, ductable warm-air distribution and model-specific pellet-loading systems designed for integration into the fireplace surround.

Thermorossi ESPRIT pellet-insert range

The current range includes ESPRIT 490 EVO6, 540 EVO6, 600 EVO6 and the higher-output ESPRIT Infinity.

Upgrading an existing fireplace

A pellet insert can be used to refurbish a compatible existing open fireplace.

Before selecting the appliance, check opening width, height and depth, chimney position, flue outlet, ventilation space, pellet-loading access and any ducting requirements.

ESPRIT 490 EVO6

ESPRIT 490 EVO6 is the most compact model in height and is particularly suitable for fireplace openings with limited vertical space.

ESPRIT 600 EVO6

ESPRIT 600 EVO6 uses the same 10 kW output platform while increasing pellet storage capacity to 20.5 kg.

It combines PelletPower®, ducting, room ventilation, a retractable pellet-loading drawer and Wi-Fi preparation.

ESPRIT Infinity

ESPRIT Infinity is the higher-output member of the family, reaching up to approximately 13.3 kW in the Matteoda catalogue.

PelletPower®

PelletPower® is Thermorossi's patented self-cleaning burner technology used on current ESPRIT inserts.

The system moves combustion residues away from the burner and into the ash drawer.

On EVO6 models Thermorossi declares up to approximately 500 hours of NO-STOP operation under the specified operating conditions.

PelletPower® Advanced Cleaning

The Advanced Cleaning version uses an Incoloy 800HT burner construction and is designed to be inspectable and removable according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Warm-air ventilation

Current ESPRIT inserts use fan-assisted room heating for warm-air distribution in the installation room.

Warm-air ducting

Current ESPRIT models are ductable, allowing part of the warm air to be directed towards other compatible rooms.

Duct length, diameter, bends and outlet positioning must comply with Thermorossi specifications.

Adjustable airflow

Selected ESPRIT models allow the user to manage the distribution of warm air between the front outlet and the ducting system.

Pellet loading drawer

ESPRIT 540 and 600 use a retractable pellet-loading drawer with crystal-glass finish, designed to simplify refilling from the front of the fireplace installation.

Loading hatch kit

A dedicated optional pellet-loading hatch kit is available for installations requiring an alternative refilling arrangement.

Adjustable support stand

ESPRIT inserts can be combined with adjustable-height support stands to assist installation in existing or newly built fireplace structures.

Wi-Fi preparation

ESPRIT EVO6 models are prepared for compatible Wi-Fi technology.

Pellet insert or wood insert?

Pellet inserts use automatic fuel feeding, electronic output control and programming.

Wood inserts instead require manual log loading and are managed through fuel load and combustion-air regulation.

Hopper capacity and autonomy

Hopper capacity varies according to model:

• ESPRIT 490 EVO6: 12.5 kg;
• ESPRIT 540 EVO6: 12.5 kg;
• ESPRIT 600 EVO6: 20.5 kg.

Actual operating time depends on heat demand, output setting and pellet quality.

Italian Conto Termico 3.0

Thermorossi publishes current Conto Termico 3.0 documentation for ESPRIT 490, 540 and 600 EVO6.

Actual eligibility depends on the complete replacement project and is not automatic with appliance purchase.

Flue and chimney system

ESPRIT 490, 540 and 600 use an 80 mm flue outlet.

The complete chimney must nevertheless be sized according to height, route, bends, pressure, temperature and installation conditions.
