Chimney Roof Penetration Systems for Timber Roofs and Floors

Chimney roof penetration systems are specifically designed for routing a chimney through timber roofs, floors and structures containing combustible materials.

The point where a chimney passes through a combustible structure is one of the most critical parts of the installation. The system must limit heat transfer to surrounding materials and comply with the clearances and classifications specified for the relevant certified configuration.

FIRE PASS for ISO25 chimney systems

FIRE PASS is designed specifically for routing a chimney through timber roofs and floors and can be used only with ISO25 and ISO25 COPPER chimney systems.

The system combines insulating and centring components to position the chimney correctly within the penetration.

PASSANTE and PASSANTE SLIM

PASSANTE is installed around the existing chimney section where it passes through the combustible structure, providing additional thermal protection.

PASSANTE SLIM performs the same basic function with reduced external dimensions for more compact installations.

SICURO – integrated roof penetration component

SICURO differs from a conventional protective sleeve because it is a fully integrated chimney component, independently certified for use within the flue system.

Its universal connection allows it to be connected to compatible De Marinis ranges, including the DESIGN system.

SICURO SLIM G0

SICURO SLIM G0 is a compact integrated roof penetration system with a universal connection.

It uses an AISI 316L BA stainless steel inner wall and an AISI 304 BA outer wall and is available in several external finishes.

CE marking and technical classifications

SICURO and SICURO SLIM G0 are designed as integrated chimney components and carry CE marking according to EN 1856-1:2009.

Temperature, pressure, condensate, corrosion and combustible-clearance classifications must always be checked in the technical documentation for the individual product and configuration.

Before purchasing, check:

  • the chimney system range;
  • nominal and external diameter;
  • connected appliance and fuel;
  • operating temperature;
  • required classification;
  • roof or floor thickness;
  • presence of combustible materials;
  • manufacturer-declared compatibility;
  • required roof flashings and finishing accessories.

Do not select a roof penetration system based on diameter alone: the compatibility between the chimney, penetration component and installation conditions must also be verified.
