Palazzetti Hydro pellet fireplace inserts are built-in pellet appliances designed to transfer most of their useful output to water for a compatible central-heating system.
The range includes Insert Idro V15, V20 and V24, with rated outputs from 15.2 to 23.8 kW and water outputs from 14.2 to 22.2 kW.
Unlike air-heating pellet inserts, these appliances are primarily designed to supply radiators, fan coils, compatible radiant systems and thermal storage, while also providing supplementary room-air ventilation.

A Hydro insert uses an internal heat exchanger to transfer pellet combustion heat to the water-based heating circuit.
It can be integrated with radiators, fan coils, compatible radiant systems and thermal storage according to the hydraulic design.
V15 provides 15.2 kW rated output and 14.2 kW to water.
Main specifications include 95% nominal efficiency, 45 kg pellet hopper, 1.49–3.4 kg/h pellet consumption, 80 mm flue outlet, 60 mm combustion-air inlet, A++ energy class and Italian 5-Star environmental rating.
V20 provides 20.4 kW rated output and 19 kW to water, with 94.8% nominal efficiency.
V24 provides 23.8 kW rated output and 22.2 kW to water, with 94.7% nominal efficiency.
All three models use a room fan, but their main function remains water heating rather than direct air heating.
The Hydro Insert range includes an integrated hydraulic group with circulation pump, closed expansion vessel, safety valve, pressure gauge, air vent and anti-condensation valve.
The Self Cleaning System automatically performs burn-pot cleaning cycles.
Complete Burning System manages the combustion process and residual material in the burn pot on compatible Palazzetti appliances.
V15, V20 and V24 all use a large 45 kg pellet hopper.
The range is prepared for Universal Gateway and Palazzetti App integration.
These appliances primarily heat technical water for the central-heating circuit.
Domestic hot-water production requires a dedicated hydraulic configuration and should not be assumed to be integrated as standard.
An air-heating pellet insert mainly heats living spaces through ventilation, while a Hydro insert transfers most of its output to the central-heating water circuit.
Current V15, V20 and V24 configurations carry an Italian 5-Star environmental rating and A++ energy class.
