Thermorossi Lambda wood boilers are reverse-flame gasification boilers designed to transfer the energy produced by wood combustion to water for a central-heating system.
The current range includes Lambda S29 EVO5, Lambda S35 EVO5 and Lambda S46 EVO5, with different water outputs and advanced combustion control using an oxygen Lambda sensor and motorised primary and secondary air regulation.

A reverse-flame boiler uses a combustion process in which gases released from the wood are drawn downwards into a secondary high-temperature combustion zone.
This is typical of wood-gasification boilers and allows combustion air to be managed more precisely.
Wood gasification releases combustible gases from heated firewood and burns them in a dedicated combustion zone.
Correct operation depends on properly seasoned wood, controlled primary and secondary air, adequate boiler temperature, chimney draught and correctly sized thermal storage.
