Colombo Design Accademia KAC12DK/SM: tilt-and-turn window handle

Accademia KAC12DK/SM is a brass handle for tilt-and-turn / Dreh-Kipp windows from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, designed to be combined with the appropriate DK mechanism.

The handle retains the distinctive Accademia design, featuring a turned tapered stem with a fine raised decorative line, adapted specifically for tilt-and-turn window hardware.

For tilt-and-turn / Dreh-Kipp windows

KAC12DK/SM is specifically designed for DK – Dreh-Kipp tilt-and-turn window systems. It should not be confused with the traditional Accademia KAC12 / KAC12B window cremone handle.

The internal DK mechanism is not included with the handle and must be selected according to the hardware and technical configuration of the window.

Compact dimensions

The handle measures 136.5 mm high, 31 mm wide and 65 mm deep. Its base and overall proportions are designed specifically for tilt-and-turn applications and differ from the traditional KAC12 cremone configuration.

The Accademia design

Accademia reinterprets traditional architectural hardware through a turned tapered stem enriched by a fine raised decorative line. The window handle can therefore be coordinated with Accademia door handles and other fittings from the same family.

Traditional Italian craftsmanship

The Antologhia collection is Made in Italy using traditional brass-working methods with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.

Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the character of the collection.

Natural finishes

The product page offers bronze, natural brass and natural unlacquered silver.

Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in appearance through handling and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, oxidises over time and develops its characteristic surface patina.
