Threadlocker

Secure metal bolts, screws, nuts, pins, and threaded screws that later need to be demountable.
Seals the threaded parts. Protects the thread from rusting.

Terms of use:
do not use at temperatures below + 10 ° C.

Surface preliminary treatment:
the parts to be protected must be dry and free from dust and oils. Degrease with acetone. Remove loose rust first with a wire brush or something similar.

Instructions:

Apply Stop Screws on the thread and mount the application.
The product also acts as a lubricant.
After assembly, do not move or rotate the pieces for 1 hour anymore.
Stains / Residues: the still fresh product can be removed with acetone.
Remove the dry glue with a sharp knife.
Points of attention:
Ferma Viti is an anaerobic adhesive. This means that the product hardens due to the presence of oxygen in combination with the metal. The adhesive out of application does not harden due to the presence of oxygen. Not suitable for applications with synthetic material and wood.

Usage time:
after about 20 minutes the fixing becomes stable, based on the tolerance between the two materials, the temperature and the type of metal.

Drying / Curing Time:
hardening depends on various factors such as temperature, type of metal and thickness of the adhesive layer. Active metals such as black steel, copper and copper alloys harden faster than passive metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, zinc and cadmium. In general, the principle is that the more the pieces fit together and the higher the temperature, the faster the hardening. In principle, the application is considered to be stable after about 20 minutes and to reach final stability after 12 hours.

The drying time may vary due to the type of surface, the amount of product used, the air temperature or humidity.
