The Caminetti Montegrappa LIGHT 01 is a front wood-burning fireplace with natural convection, designed to combine high heating performance, an extensive view of the flames and flexible installation options.

Its certified rated heat output is 12.0 kW, with a total heat input of 13.9 kW and 86% efficiency. Its indicative heating capacity is up to approximately 138 m², depending on building characteristics and installation conditions.

LIGHT 01 features a door entirely made from ceramic glass, with a vertical sliding opening for everyday operation and a tilt opening for easier cleaning. The large glass surface provides an excellent view of the fire and makes the fireplace suitable for both modern and traditional fireplace surrounds.

Wide flame view and vertical sliding door

One of the defining features of LIGHT 01 is its full ceramic-glass door. The vertical sliding system provides convenient access to the firebox, while the tilt opening makes cleaning the glass easier.

This configuration preserves an extensive view of the flames and makes the fireplace particularly suitable for living rooms where the fire is intended to become an important part of the interior design.

CMtech® combustion chamber

The combustion chamber is lined with CMtech®, a thick refractory material. In the upper section, the CMtech®2 Catalyst-Flame Arrestor is made from ceramic refractory material specifically designed for the fireplace.

Natural convection and optional hot-air distribution

LIGHT 01 is designed as a natural-convection wood-burning fireplace, but it can be equipped with optional kits for hot-air distribution.

Solutions are available for both natural-convection ducting and forced hot-air distribution, allowing the system to be configured according to the layout and heating requirements of the property.

How much space can the Caminetti Montegrappa LIGHT 01 heat?

With a 12 kW rated heat output, LIGHT 01 is suitable for an indicative heating area of up to approximately 138 m². Correct sizing should also take into account room volume, thermal insulation, climate zone, building exposure and internal layout.

Installation and chimney system

LIGHT 01 features a Ø 180 mm top flue outlet and requires a correctly sized chimney system. The manufacturer specifies an internal chimney section of Ø 18 cm or 18 × 18 cm and a minimum chimney height of 4 metres.

Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with current regulations and the manufacturer's technical instructions.
