Caminetti Montegrappa TECH 3 13 kW Three-Sided Wood-Burning Fireplace

The Caminetti Montegrappa TECH 3 is a three-sided natural-convection wood-burning fireplace designed to provide a wide panoramic view of the flames through three glazed surfaces.

Its certified heat output is 13.0 kW, with a total heat input of 16.0 kW and 81% efficiency. Its indicative heating capacity is up to approximately 149 m², depending on building insulation, climate zone and installation conditions.

The front door is entirely made from ceramic glass and features a vertical sliding opening. Both side glass panels can be opened for easier cleaning. The combustion chamber is lined with CMtech®, a thick refractory material.

Panoramic three-sided flame view

The defining feature of TECH 3 is its three-sided design. The flames remain visible from the front and both sides, turning the fireplace into a strong architectural feature.

This makes TECH 3 particularly suitable for open-plan interiors, dividing walls, central installations and living spaces where the fire should remain visible from different viewpoints.

Vertical sliding front door and opening side glass

The ceramic-glass front door features a vertical sliding opening, making everyday wood loading convenient.

The two side glass panels can be opened, providing easier access to their internal surfaces during cleaning.

Natural convection, ducting and optional forced ventilation

TECH 3 is supplied as a natural-convection fireplace. Caminetti Montegrappa also offers two optional hot-air distribution kits.

The first allows hot-air ducting while maintaining natural convection; the second converts the fireplace to forced-air ventilation. This allows the heating system to be configured according to the layout and requirements of the property.

How much space can the Caminetti Montegrappa TECH 3 heat?

With a 13 kW certified heat output, TECH 3 is suitable for an indicative heating area of up to approximately 149 m². Correct sizing should also consider room volume, thermal insulation, climate zone, exposure and internal layout.

Installation and chimney system

TECH 3 features a Ø 250 mm top flue outlet. The manufacturer specifies an internal chimney section of Ø 25 cm or 25 × 25 cm and a minimum chimney height of 4 metres.

Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with current regulations and Caminetti Montegrappa technical instructions.
