Cadel Smart 80S: 7.5 kW wood-burning cooker with oven

Cadel Smart 80S is a 7.5 kW wood-burning cooker designed to combine home heating, traditional wood-fired cooking and baking in a single appliance.

Its approximately 80 cm format provides a generous oven while retaining the flexibility of either freestanding or built-in installation.

The cooker features cast-iron doors, elegant steel handles and handrail, and a combustion chamber lined with refractory material with secondary combustion air.

Heating and cooking with one appliance

Smart 80S works as both a room heater and a genuine wood-burning range cooker.

The heat produced by the fire can simultaneously warm the room, heat the cast-iron cooking hob and power the integrated oven.

This makes the cooker particularly suitable for main homes, country houses and mountain properties where wood is used as an everyday source of both heat and cooking energy.

Large integrated oven

The oven measures 33 cm wide, 42 cm deep and 29 cm high.

It uses the heat generated by the wood fire to prepare bread, roasts, cakes, focaccia and many other dishes.

The glazed oven door also allows cooking progress to be checked without repeatedly opening the oven.

Cast-iron cooking hob

The upper section features a cast-iron cooking hob, providing good heat distribution and thermal stability.

Different areas of the cooking surface reach different temperatures depending on their position relative to the firebox, allowing several cooking operations to be managed at the same time.

Freestanding or built-in installation

Cadel Smart 80S can be installed either as a standalone appliance or integrated into a kitchen composition.

The Smart range is designed to provide flexible installation and, where permitted by the manufacturer, can be fitted between kitchen units without requiring a separate built-in kit.

All safety distances, ventilation requirements and installation instructions must nevertheless be respected.

Cast-iron door and refractory combustion chamber

The fire door is made from cast iron, while the combustion chamber is internally lined with refractory material.

Secondary combustion air

Smart 80S uses secondary combustion air to promote more complete burning of the gases released during primary wood combustion.

The Ø 140 mm flue outlet can be configured at the top or rear of the appliance.

How much space can Cadel Smart 80S heat?

Cadel specifies an indicative maximum heating volume of approximately 214 m³.

Actual heating capacity depends on building insulation, climate zone, ceiling height, exposure and actual heat loss. Correct appliance sizing should therefore be based on the thermal requirements of the property.

Installation and chimney system

Cadel Smart 80S uses an Ø 140 mm flue outlet, configurable at the top or rear, and an Ø 80 mm combustion air inlet.
