Da utilizzarsi su macchine automatiche e semiautomatiche, orizzontali e verticali per lavori pesanti. Possibilità di taglio di acciai moderatamente difficili da tagliare a macchina, , tubi con pareti molto spesse. (Esempio: leghe di acciaio, acciaio al carbonio, alcuni acciai inossidabili).

Non raccomandate per profilati a pareti sottili.
