De Marinis VTR inverted cone terminal for VENTIL air ducts

The De Marinis VTR inverted cone terminal is a terminal component of the VENTIL range, designed for circular duct systems used for air distribution, ventilation, extraction and air treatment.

What the VTR terminal is used for

The VTR is used as the terminal component of a circular VENTIL duct.

Its distinctive inverted cone geometry provides a purpose-designed end component while maintaining visual and dimensional compatibility with the De Marinis modular duct system.

AISI 304 BA stainless steel

The VENTIL system is manufactured from AISI 304 BA stainless steel, EN 1.4301.

The BA finish provides a bright and uniform stainless-steel appearance, making the system suitable for visible installations where the appearance of the ductwork is also important.

De Marinis specifies a minimum material thickness of 0.4 mm for the VENTIL range.

VENTIL air duct system

VENTIL is the De Marinis single-wall system developed primarily for air transport and ventilation ductwork.

The range includes straight ducts, elbows, tees, adapters, terminals, grilles and accessories for creating modular air distribution and extraction systems.

Components use a male/female jointing system, with dedicated locking accessories available where additional mechanical stability is required.

Indoor and outdoor installation

The VTR can be used in VENTIL installations located both inside and outside buildings, within the intended application of the system.

Terminal position should be selected according to the air-flow requirements, environmental conditions and overall duct system design.

How to read the technical drawing

• Øi: lower diameter shown in the De Marinis technical drawing;
• I: connection depth, 45 mm;
• H: overall terminal height;
• Øe: maximum external diameter of the inverted cone terminal.

Installation

The VTR should be matched to the correct VENTIL duct size and installed according to the design of the air-handling system.

The terminal should remain unobstructed to allow the intended air movement.
