De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2TL G50 lateral condensate drain cap
The De Marinis P2TL lateral condensate drain cap is an ISO 25 PLUS G50 component designed to collect and discharge condensate forming inside the flue system.
Unlike the P2TS central drain cap, the P2TL features a lateral drain outlet, making it useful where the installation layout requires the condensate drainage line to be routed sideways rather than directly below the chimney axis.
The P2TL is compatible with ISO 25 PLUS systems featuring an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.
It is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.

What the P2TL is used for
Condensate may form inside a flue system as combustion gases cool.
The P2TL provides a lower collection point and allows the condensate to be conveyed to suitable drainage pipework through a lateral outlet.
The lateral configuration is useful where there is limited space beneath the flue or where the drainage line needs to run towards a nearby wall.
Lateral condensate outlet
The defining feature of the P2TL is its side condensate outlet.
This configuration can be particularly useful when:
- space below the chimney is restricted;
- a support plate or structural element is located beneath the flue;
- the drain needs to be routed towards a wall;
- existing drainage pipework is positioned laterally.
Important: the drainage system must be suitable for the temperature and chemical characteristics of the condensate and designed to prevent standing liquid. Where required, traps, neutralisers or other dedicated devices must be installed according to the appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
Difference between P2TL, P2TS and P2TA
- P2TL: lateral condensate drain cap;
- P2TS: central condensate drain cap;
- P2TA: blind closure / inspection cap without integrated condensate drain.

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm distance from combustible materials in the certified system configuration.
Note: G50 is a classification of the complete certified ISO 25 PLUS system and should not be interpreted as an independent characteristic of the P2TL drain cap alone.

Dimensional note: all P2TL variants have usable height Hu = 65 mm and joint depth I = 45 mm. External diameter Øe is 50 mm greater than nominal internal diameter Øi.
Installation
The P2TL should be installed at the lower point specified by the flue design and connected to suitable condensate drainage pipework.
The lateral drain connection should allow correct condensate flow and remain accessible for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with De Marinis technical documentation, appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
