Magnetic locking and tamper resistance

The MG600 features a magnetic-key-operated piston locking mechanism offering more than 100,000 possible magnetic combinations. DISEC's patented system is designed to resist lock picking and bumping attempts.

Key duplication is controlled through a Security Card and authorised Star Centres. The padlock is supplied with 2 magnetic keys.

Solid stainless steel body and hardened shackle

The solid body is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. The 12 mm diameter shackle is made from hardened AISI 420 stainless steel with the protective coating specified by the manufacturer.

The armoured construction protects the locking mechanism and makes the MG600 suitable as an additional security lock for commercial and technical applications, provided that the existing locking points and dimensions are compatible.

The MG600 is suitable as an additional security lock for shop roller shutters, garage doors, storage rooms and commercial vehicles. Selection requires checking the fixing arrangement, shackle diameter and internal clearance needed to engage the existing locking points.

Before installation, compare the padlock dimensions with the existing hasps, brackets or locking eyes. Overall security also depends on the strength and suitability of the mounting hardware.
