Colombo Design Laconico AM16 – Fixed Door Pull Handle

The Colombo Design Laconico AM16, designed by Alberto Meda, is a single fixed door pull handle made of Cromall®. Its restrained linear profile, without decorative roses, measures 450 mm overall with 350 mm fixing centres.

Design and form

Laconico follows the pursuit of formal simplicity that defines Alberto Meda's Laconica collection. Its design removes unnecessary decoration, focusing on straight geometry, a regular section and discreet transitions between surfaces.

The absence of roses emphasises the clean relationship between the pull handle and the door surface. Its measured proportions suit contemporary architecture and interiors where visual restraint and coordinated detailing are important.

As a fixed pull handle, it provides a grip for opening or closing a door but does not directly operate a latch or lock.

Finishes and coordinated hardware

The Laconico AM16 is offered in Oroplus (OL), Zirconium Stainless-Steel (HPS/1), Matt Graphite (GM), Umber Bronze (UB), Dark Green (DG) and Cherry (CH).

For coordinated door hardware, the pull handle can be paired with the Laconica AM41 door lever, also designed by Alberto Meda, in a matching finish.

Fixing information

This product consists of one fixed pull handle without a fixing kit. The mounting system must be selected separately according to the door material and construction. Contact Matteoda customer service for fixing advice and estimated lead times.
