Description
The VIGOR VLN-900 is a 900 W belt sander designed for fast stock removal and sanding of flat surfaces. It uses 76x533 mm abrasive belts and provides adjustable belt speed from 200 to 380 m/min, allowing the sanding action to be matched to the abrasive grit and application.
76x533 mm belt and 76x130 mm sanding plate
The 76x130 mm supporting plate keeps the abrasive belt in contact with the workpiece during sanding. The 76x533 mm belt format is particularly suitable for relatively large flat areas where faster material removal is required.
Variable speed and belt tracking
Belt speed can be adjusted between 200 and 380 m/min. The guide-roller adjustment allows belt tracking to be corrected during operation, while the quick-release tension lever simplifies abrasive belt replacement.
When is a belt sander suitable?
It is particularly useful for rapid stock removal, levelling surfaces and initial preparation before subsequent finishing stages. For fine sanding, edges or shaped surfaces, an orbital or random orbital sander may be more appropriate.
