VIGOR 37175-10 electrical terminal kit – 280 pieces

The VIGOR 37175-10 is an assortment of 280 insulated electrical terminals supplied in an organiser case, designed for wiring, maintenance and repair work involving different types of electrical connections.

The kit includes terminals with different connection geometries, including fork, ring/eyelet and push-on profiles. This assortment allows the appropriate terminal shape to be selected according to the screw, stud, tab or connection point used by the electrical equipment.

Electrical terminals for crimped connections

The terminal is fitted to the end of the conductor after the correct length of insulation has been stripped. The mechanical and electrical connection is then completed by crimping with a suitable tool.

Correct crimping compresses the terminal around the conductor in a controlled manner and provides a stable connection. The terminal must always be compatible with both the cable cross-section and the geometry of the electrical connection.

Different terminal profiles for different connections

Fork terminals are useful for screw and terminal-block connections where the terminal needs to be fitted or removed without fully removing the screw.

Ring or eyelet terminals completely surround the screw or stud and provide a closed mechanical connection around the fastening point.

Push-on terminals are designed to connect with compatible tabs or mating terminals.

Insulated terminals

The terminals included in the kit are insulated. The insulated section covers the conductor-entry area and helps protect the crimped connection from surrounding conductive parts.

Terminal insulation does not replace correct installation procedures: the conductor must be properly prepared and crimped using a suitable tool, and the completed connection must comply with the electrical requirements of the application.

The 280 assorted terminals are stored in an organiser case that separates the different terminal types and allows the required component to be identified quickly.
