VIGOR 5-shelf MDF shelving unit 90×40×180 cm

The VIGOR shelving unit features a galvanised sheet-metal frame and five MDF shelves, providing a practical storage solution for tools, boxes, equipment and materials in garages, workshops, cellars and storage rooms.

Its 90×40×180 cm dimensions provide useful vertical storage while retaining a relatively compact depth. The interlocking frame is designed for assembly without screws or bolts.

Galvanised sheet-metal frame

The uprights and supporting elements are made from galvanised sheet metal. The galvanised surface provides a protective finish to the steel structure and is suitable for typical garage, workshop and storage environments.

The vertical uprights work together with the horizontal support members to carry the shelf panels and transfer loads through the frame.

Boltless interlocking assembly

Each shelf has a maximum capacity of 175 kg when the load is evenly distributed across the shelf surface.

Correct load distribution is essential. A heavy point load concentrated in a small area can stress the MDF panel and shelf supports more severely than the same weight spread evenly across the shelf.

With five shelves, the theoretical combined capacity is 875 kg only when every shelf remains within its individual limit and the load is correctly distributed. Floor stability and overall shelving stability must always be checked before use.

Compact dimensions for garages and storage rooms

At 90 cm wide, 40 cm deep and 180 cm high, the unit makes efficient use of vertical space without projecting excessively into walkways.

It is suitable for garages, cellars, utility rooms, workshops, laboratories and small warehouses where organised storage is required.

Correct load distribution

For safe and efficient use, heavier objects should preferably be placed on the lower shelves and loads should be spread across the entire shelf surface.

Avoid highly concentrated point loads, particularly near the centre of the MDF panel, and always install the shelving unit on a stable, level floor.

Where heavy loads or accidental impacts are possible, securing the shelving unit to a suitable wall support should also be considered.
