The rotating wind cowl with square base in AISI 304 stainless steel is primarily designed for ventilation, air extraction and air intake in domestic and industrial applications.

The rotating upper section is driven by the wind and helps extract air from the duct. The rotation system uses oil-bath ball bearings, together with a central shaft and bronze nut securing the rotating section.

The square base allows the cowl to be installed on top of compatible ducts, ventilation shafts and structures, provided that the correct size is selected for the installation.

How does a rotating wind cowl work?

The wind cowl uses wind energy to rotate its upper section. This movement helps extract air from the duct and can improve natural air circulation in compatible ventilation systems.

No electrical power is required, as rotation is generated by the airflow acting on the moving head.

Oil-bath ball bearings

The rotating section is supported by oil-bath ball bearings, designed to provide smooth movement while reducing friction and the possibility of the rotating head becoming blocked.

Square base

The square base is designed for installation on compatible ducts and structures. Before purchasing, carefully check the dimensions required for the installation and select the appropriate size from the product options.

This product is not certified for use as a chimney flue terminal.

The square base and installation on top of a chimney or ventilation shaft should not be interpreted as certification for combustion flue gas evacuation. Chimney systems require a terminal specifically designed and certified for the relevant flue system and connected appliance.
