Thermorossi iControl Wi-Fi Module for Remote Stove Control

The Thermorossi iControl Wi-Fi module connects compatible Thermorossi heating appliances to a network, allowing many of their functions to be controlled remotely from a smartphone, tablet or computer.

It is designed for users who want to check and manage their Thermorossi stove even when they are not standing in front of the appliance.

What can Thermorossi iControl do?

• Switch the stove on and off remotely.
• Set daily and/or weekly operating schedules.
• Check the operating status of the appliance.
• Check active alarms.
• Manage room temperature when the optional Thermorossi Room Control is installed and supported by the appliance.

Local and remote connection

The iControl module can operate in different connection modes.

Direct connection: the mobile device connects directly to the Wi-Fi network generated by the module for local control.

Home network connection: iControl can be connected to the building's Wi-Fi network for control through the local network.

Remote Cloud connection: after completing the required Thermorossi Cloud registration and associating the module with the user account, the system can be accessed remotely via the Internet.

Thermorossi Connector app

The current Thermorossi installation manual specifies the Thermorossi Connector app for configuring the Wi-Fi module.

During initial setup, the mobile device connects to the Wi-Fi network generated by iControl. The module can then be connected to the home Wi-Fi network and registered with the Cloud service when remote access is required.

iControl vs Room Control

iControl provides the network connection required for remote management of a compatible Thermorossi appliance.

Room Control is a separate optional accessory for room-temperature control. When supported by the appliance, the two systems can work together to allow temperature management through the remote-control system.

Compatibility

iControl is intended for Thermorossi products equipped or prepared for compatible Wi-Fi technology. It should not be assumed to work with every Thermorossi stove or heating appliance.

Compatibility may depend on the exact model and electronics installed. Before purchase, check the exact appliance model and, where necessary, its serial number.

Installation

The module must be connected according to the Thermorossi instructions. The appliance must be switched off before connecting the module cable, and the module and cable must be positioned away from the flue pipe and other hot components.
