Accademia KAC15R is a revolving door knob designed to operate the lock, rather than a fixed pull knob. Its turned form reflects a traditional approach to architectural hardware, while the raised detailing gives the design a distinctive but restrained decorative character.
The rose-mounted configuration keeps the fitting visually compact and allows the knob itself to remain the principal design feature.
The KAC15R version incorporates a return spring. The corresponding KAC15RB version is supplied without an integrated spring. The appropriate configuration should be selected according to the lock mechanism and door specification.
Accademia belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range inspired by historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional processes with a significant degree of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
