DISEC Rok Sferik BDS16D1P – Grade 4 Euro Cylinder Protector
The DISEC Rok Sferik BDS16D1P is a mechanical security protector made of carbonitrided steel for Euro profile cylinder locks. It is designed for security doors and wooden entrance doors with compatible mounting arrangements. Its hemispherical body shields the cylinder against breaking, pulling and drilling attempts. DISEC specifies grade 4 burglary resistance for this model.
Rok protection and Flex System mounting
The hemispherical profile reduces accessible gripping surfaces. The carbonitrided steel body is designed to resist mechanical attacks on the cylinder, while the front opening allows normal key insertion and operation.
The Flex System strengthens the connection between the protector and the lock. DISEC states that the fixing screws provide up to five times the resistance of its conventional reference fasteners.

Size selection and installation compatibility
Correct installation requires checking the fixing centres, cylinder position and external door panel thickness. The protector size must be selected according to the lock arrangement and cylinder projection.
The BDS16D1P uses 38 mm fixing centres, while other DISEC versions have different mounting arrangements. When replacing an existing protector, the fixing dimensions must be checked carefully.
