KIM113 is specifically designed for lift-slide doors and windows. Unlike a fixed pull handle used only for gripping, it forms part of the operating hardware used to control the lift-slide opening and closing mechanism.
A flush handle is included for the opposite side of the sliding panel, helping to minimise projection where the moving leaf passes the adjacent frame or panel.
Impero treats architectural hardware as both a functional and decorative element. Its worked profiles and hand-chiselled detailing create a richer surface treatment than the more restrained Antologhia designs.
KIM113 therefore allows lift-slide doors and windows to be coordinated with handles, knobs and accessories from the same Impero family.
The set includes the main operating handle, external flush handle, 10 mm square spindle and two connecting screws. Compatibility with the specific lift-slide mechanism, door thickness and existing hardware should always be checked before installation.
Impero belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range inspired by historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional brass-working methods with a significant element of manual craftsmanship, chiselled detailing and hand finishing.
Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the character of the collection.
The product page offers unlacquered bronze, natural unlacquered brass and natural unlacquered silver.
Untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, oxidises over time and develops its characteristic surface patina.
