Colombo Design Accademia KAC119: brass furniture knob

Accademia KAC119 is a furniture knob for cabinets, cupboards and drawers from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, made of brass and measuring 25 mm wide, 37 mm high and 28 mm deep.

The design reproduces one of the defining features of the Accademia series: a turned tapered stem enriched by a fine raised decorative line. This allows furniture and cabinetry to be coordinated with door hardware from the same collection.

KAC119 transfers the distinctive Accademia character to cabinets and drawers. Its turned tapered profile and raised decorative line create a restrained but recognisable form suited to classical furniture, timber cabinetry and restoration work.

The compact dimensions provide a practical grip without visually overpowering smaller doors or drawer fronts.

Fixing screw included

The knob is supplied complete with an M4 × 30 mm fixing screw. The thickness of the cabinet door or drawer front should be checked before installation to ensure compatibility with the supplied screw.

Traditional Italian craftsmanship

Accademia belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range inspired by historic architectural and furniture hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional casting and finishing techniques with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.

Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the character of the collection.

Natural finishes and ageing

The product page offers bronze, natural brass, natural unlacquered silver and natural nickel finishes.

Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, oxidises over time and develops its characteristic surface patina.
