Richly detailed Impero design
KIM119 transfers the distinctive Impero design language to furniture and cabinetry. Its richly worked classical detailing gives the compact knob a stronger decorative presence than the more restrained designs within the Antologhia collection.
It is particularly suitable for timber furniture, classical interiors and restoration projects, and can be coordinated with door handles and accessories from the same Impero family.
Hand-chiselled detailing
A defining feature of the Impero series is its hand-chiselled finishing, which adds depth and character to the decorative surfaces.
The knob is supplied with a fixing screw. Cabinet door or drawer-front thickness should be checked before installation.
Traditional Italian craftsmanship
Impero belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range inspired by historic architectural and furniture hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional brass-working techniques with a significant element of manual craftsmanship, chiselled detailing and hand finishing.
Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the character of the collection.
Natural unlacquered finishes
The product page offers unlacquered bronze, natural unlacquered brass and natural unlacquered silver.
Untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, oxidises over time and develops its characteristic surface patina.
