Description
FISCHER SAM Transparent 9351 Multipurpose Acetic Silicone is a single-component, acetic-based silicone sealant designed to ensure excellent adhesion on glass, ceramic and tile surfaces. It is particularly suitable for applications in healthcare environments, such as bathrooms and kitchens, thanks to its anti-mold formulation and resistance to chemical agents and UV rays.
Technical characteristics
Chemical base: Single-component acetic silicone.
Elastic modulus: Low, with high elastic recovery capacity.
Resistance to atmospheric agents: Excellent, even in extreme irradiation conditions.
Adhesion: Excellent on glass, ceramic, enamel and anodized aluminum.
Application temperature: From +5°C to +40°C.
Thermal resistance: From -40°C to +150°C.
Skin formation time: Approximately 10-15 minutes at 23°C and 50% RH.
Hardening time: 2-3 mm per day.
Certifications: CE marked for sealing facades, windows and sanitary fixtures.
Recommended applications
Sealing joints between anodized aluminum frames and glass sheets.
Healthcare sector: Ideal for bathrooms and kitchens, thanks to its anti-mold formulation.
Building facades: Suitable for internal and external sealing, even in cold climates.
Chemical resistance: Good resistance to detergents and cleaning products.
Application method
Surface preparation: Remove dirt, dust, oil and rust. For porous surfaces, grind or sandblast.
Cleaning: Glass and metals must be cleaned with solvent.
Application: Cut the end of the cartridge, insert the nozzle and adapt it to the size of the joint.
Sealing: Apply the product along the joint and level it with a spatula.
Final cleaning: Remove the tape from the edges and clean the tools with acetone or multipurpose wipes
