Byblos KBY15 is a fixed door knob from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, made of brass and featuring a substantial 120 mm diameter.
The design has a distinctly classical circular form defined by a sequence of concentric moulded profiles. Its substantial dimensions give the knob an appropriately strong presence on large entrance doors, traditional timber doors and period-style architectural joinery.

Byblos KBY15 uses a circular geometry developed through a sequence of concentric moulded profiles inspired by traditional architectural hardware. Compared with the more richly ornamented KBY25 version, KBY15 has a more regular and geometric composition.
Its 120 mm diameter gives the knob sufficient visual presence for large timber doors and substantial entrance doors.
Byblos KBY15 is a fixed pull door knob: it provides a substantial grip for opening or closing the door and does not rotate or directly operate the lock mechanism.
The knob uses a single through-fixing with a 10MA threaded rod, complete with installation accessories and an internal cover nut. Door thickness and construction should always be checked before installation.
Byblos belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range dedicated to the reinterpretation of historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional casting and finishing techniques with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the handcrafted character of the collection.
The product page offers polished lacquered brass and lacquered satin bronze finishes.
The lacquer provides a protective layer that helps preserve the original appearance of the metal surface. These finishes should therefore not be described as ageing in the same way as natural unlacquered brass.
