The Palatino KPA12 DK/SM is a brass tilt-and-turn window handle from the Antologhia collection by Colombo Design. It features a smooth, flat-profile grip with a rounded end, mounted on a compact backplate with curved ends.
The DK/SM configuration is intended for DK / Dreh-Kipp window systems. It differs from the traditional Palatino KPA12 and KPA12B window cremone handles, which feature an oval turning knob on an elongated vertical backplate.
The Palatino design draws on understated traditional architectural hardware, with a flat, smoothly contoured grip and rounded terminal. The DK/SM version adapts these distinctive features to tilt-and-turn window hardware.
Made in Italy using traditional brass-working methods, the Antologhia collection incorporates a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
