The Palatino KPA12 / KPA12B is a traditional brass window cremone handle from the Antologhia collection by Colombo Design. It features an oval turning knob mounted on a vertical rectangular backplate with shaped ends and visible fixing screws.
Two configurations can be ordered: KPA12 with a raised backplate and KPA12B with a low-profile backplate. Both measure 175 mm in backplate height and 38 mm in width but differ in backplate thickness and overall projection.
KPA12 – Raised backplate: traditional configuration featuring a 13 mm thick backplate and a 65 mm overall projection shown in the manufacturer's drawing.
KPA12B – Low-profile backplate: reduced backplate thickness of 8 mm and an overall projection of 60 mm. Installation requires checking the preparation of the window frame and space for the operating mechanism.
Both versions are traditional cremone handles and must be distinguished from the separate Palatino KPA12 DK/SM tilt-and-turn window handle.

Dimensions are taken from the Colombo Design technical drawings for both versions. Overall projection must not be confused with the thickness of the backplate alone.
The Palatino range draws on traditional architectural hardware, combining a flat-profile oval knob with an elongated backplate. Made in Italy using traditional brass-working methods, the Antologhia collection incorporates a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
Standard finishes include natural unlacquered brass (ON), unlacquered bronze (BR) and natural unlacquered nickel (NI).
Natural unlacquered finishes may gradually change in appearance and develop a surface patina, particularly natural brass. Minor surface variations or porosity may be consistent with the traditional brass-working and finishing processes used for the collection.
The operating mechanism is not included and must be selected separately according to the window hardware. Before ordering, check the mounting dimensions, window frame preparation and space required for the mechanism, particularly with the low-profile KPA12B version.
