Colombo Design Ottocento KOT22AV – Brass Window Cremone Handle for External Rods
The Ottocento KOT22AV is a traditional brass window cremone handle designed for external locking rod systems, from the Antologhia collection by Colombo Design. It features a vertical backplate and oval turning knob and is supplied complete with the MP operating mechanism.
The handle forms the central operating component of an external rod window locking system. The rods and associated fittings are separate components, selected to suit the window dimensions and installation requirements.
Construction and operating configuration
The KOT22AV is designed to connect to external window locking rods. Unlike Antologhia window handles requiring a separately selected operating mechanism, this model already incorporates the MP mechanism.
Its traditional Ottocento appearance combines a vertically mounted backplate, visible fixing details and a shaped oval knob. Made in Italy using traditional brass-working methods, the Antologhia collection incorporates a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.

Finishes and surface characteristics
The handle can be ordered in natural unlacquered brass (ON) and bronze (BR) finishes. Natural finishes may gradually change in appearance with handling and age, particularly unlacquered brass, which can develop a characteristic patina.
Minor porosity or surface variations may be consistent with the traditional brass-working and hand-finishing methods used for the Antologhia collection.
