Colombo Design Louis XVI KLU12 / KLU12B: brass window cremone handle

Louis XVI KLU12 / KLU12B is the traditional brass window cremone handle from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, available in two configurations: KLU12 with traditional plate and KLU12B with low-profile plate.

The Louis XVI series recalls the lines of Empire-style hardware, with elegant proportions and hand-finished chisel detailing. Both versions retain the same design language while differing in plate construction and depth.

Main specifications

KLU12 with traditional plate

The KLU12 version uses the traditional plate with exposed screws and measures approximately 184 × 37 × 65.5 mm.

It uses a 7 mm square spindle; the correct mechanism must be selected according to the window hardware.

KLU12B with low-profile plate

The KLU12B version uses a 6.5 mm low-profile plate and measures approximately 184 × 37 × 61 mm.

This configuration requires the mechanism to be recessed into the window frame and uses the same 7 mm square spindle.

Louis XVI belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range manufactured using traditional brass-working methods with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.

Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a consequence of these traditional manufacturing methods and are consistent with the character of the collection.

Natural unlacquered finishes

The product page offers natural unlacquered brass, unlacquered bronze and natural unlacquered silver.

Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change through handling and oxidation. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, develops its characteristic surface patina over time.
