The Venezia KVE12 / KVE12B is a traditional brass window cremone handle from the Antologhia collection by Colombo Design. It features a vertically arranged turned grip with a gently tapered body, decorative mouldings and rounded terminals, mounted on a rectangular backplate with visible fixing screws.
Two configurations can be ordered: KVE12 with a raised backplate and KVE12B with a low-profile backplate. Both share the same 157 × 37 mm backplate dimensions but differ in thickness and overall projection.
KVE12 – Raised backplate: traditional configuration with a 12 mm thick backplate and a projection of 61.5 mm shown in the manufacturer's technical drawing.
KVE12B – Low-profile backplate: slimmer configuration with a reduced backplate thickness of 6.5 mm and a projection of 56 mm. Installation requires checking the window frame preparation and the space needed to accommodate the operating mechanism.
Both versions are traditional cremone handles and must be distinguished from the separate Venezia KVE12 DK/SM and KVE12 CRDK tilt-and-turn window handles.

Measurements are taken from Colombo Design technical drawings for each version. Backplate dimensions must be distinguished from the overall projection shown in the side view.
The Venezia cremone handle reflects traditional architectural hardware through its turned, tapered grip, decorative mouldings and rounded terminals. Made in Italy using traditional brass-working methods, the Antologhia collection incorporates a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
The standard finishes are natural unlacquered brass (ON) and unlacquered bronze (BR).
Natural unlacquered finishes may gradually change in appearance through handling and ageing, particularly natural brass, which can develop a characteristic surface patina. Minor porosity or surface variations may be consistent with traditional brass-working and hand-finishing techniques.
The operating mechanism is not included and must be selected separately according to the window hardware. Before ordering, check the mounting dimensions, locking system and space required for the mechanism, particularly with the low-profile KVE12B version.
