DISEC BMAR02 – Security Lock for Tilt-and-Turn Window Handles
The DISEC BMAR02 is a security locking device for tilt-and-turn (DK) window handles. Designed for windows and French doors, it is fitted beneath the existing handle rose and prevents handle rotation until the release button is pressed. This version features a 65 × 30 mm oval plate in a polished brass finish.
How the handle lock works
The BMAR02 fits between the existing DK handle rose and the window frame. Its locking mechanism engages as the handle is rotated, restricting further movement until the release button is pressed.
This additional security control helps resist attempts to operate the handle from outside through the window assembly. It does not replace the existing window locking hardware.

Compatibility and installation
The BMAR02 is designed for compatible tilt-and-turn (DK) window handles with 43 mm fixing centres and a 7 mm square spindle. Sufficient mounting clearance must be confirmed before installation.
The device adds 5 mm beneath the handle rose. Check that the existing spindle and fixing screws provide sufficient length for secure installation and correct operation.
