DISEC Sferik Basic BD68D1P – Euro Cylinder Protector, 31 mm Fixing Centres
The DISEC Sferik Basic BD68D1P is a mechanical protector for Euro profile cylinder locks, featuring a hemispherical body and 31 mm fixing centres. It is designed for doors with compatible mounting arrangements, including ATRA lock configurations using this fixing-hole spacing.
Construction and protective function
The hemispherical external body shields the accessible section of the cylinder and reduces gripping surfaces for tools used in tampering attempts. The front opening permits normal key insertion, while the oval escutcheon covers the mounting area on the door.
The BD68D1P differs from the BD16 in its 31 mm fixing arrangement, an essential specification when selecting a replacement protector.

The BD68D1P is intended for locks with 31 mm fixing centres. Checking this measurement is particularly important when replacing an existing protector: versions with 38 mm fixing centres are not directly interchangeable unless the door and lock mounting arrangement is compatible.
