The DISEC MG220 MINI is a sliding magnetic security protector designed for double-bit key locks, commonly fitted to security doors. Its compact construction, with a 50 mm external width, is particularly suitable for installations where limited space is available around the lock keyhole.
The device features a sliding cover operated by a dedicated magnetic key. When closed, the cover shields the lock keyhole. Once released, the cover moves to allow normal insertion and operation of the double-bit key.
The magnetic mechanism provides an additional barrier against attempts to manipulate the lock keyhole using unauthorised opening tools. It does not replace the door's existing mechanical locking system.

The MG220 MINI is intended for double-bit key locks with compatible mounting arrangements. Before installation, check the keyhole position, fixing-hole layout, protector dimensions and clearance required for movement of the sliding cover.
For certain mounting configurations, Matteoda separately offers the DISEC A2748 mounting plate, measuring 130 × 60 mm with a thickness of 2.5 mm. This accessory is not included and its suitability depends on the actual lock and door arrangement.
