DISEC A0397 – Replacement Cover for Ø50 mm Cylinder Security Protectors
The DISEC A0397 is a decorative replacement cover for compatible Ø50 mm cylinder security protectors, including suitable DISEC Sferik BDS models. It allows the external cover to be replaced without necessarily replacing the entire security protector. Available in brass, bronze and satin chrome finishes.
Decorative replacement component
The A0397 is designed to cover the outer surface of compatible cylinder protectors. It can be used to replace a worn cover or coordinate the protector finish with existing door hardware.
This product consists of the replacement cover only. It does not replace the protective body of the defender or alter its security characteristics.
Selectable finishes
Brass – A0397OL: brass-coloured finish for matching door handles and hardware.
Bronze – A0397F7: bronze finish suited to darker, warmer-toned door fittings.
Satin chrome – A0397F6: satin chrome finish for coordinating with matt-finish hardware.

Compatibility and replacement
Before purchasing, identify the existing cylinder protector and confirm that it is designed to accept the DISEC A0397 cover. The nominal 50 mm diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility with every cylinder protector.
The replacement must match the original cover geometry and attachment arrangement. If necessary, contact Matteoda with the protector model and a photograph of the component to be replaced.
