Ottocento KOT16 develops the distinctive character of the series through a tapered round stem ending in a bell-shaped terminal. The form is simple but immediately recognisable and directly recalls traditional 19th-century door hardware.
With a 265 mm overall length and 220 mm fixing centres, the handle is suitable for timber doors, entrance doors, period buildings and restoration projects where the hardware should remain visually coherent with the original architectural character.
KOT16 is a fixed pull handle: it provides a grip for opening or closing the door and does not directly operate the lock mechanism.
The product is supplied complete with accessories for single through-fixing with internal cover nuts and for surface fixing. Door thickness and construction should always be checked before installation.
Ottocento belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range dedicated to the reinterpretation of historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional casting and finishing methods with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the handcrafted character of the collection.
The product page offers bronze, natural brass, natural unlacquered silver and natural nickel finishes.
Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling, exposure and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, gradually oxidises and develops its characteristic surface patina.
