Colombo Design Busiri KBU16: 390 mm brass pull handle

Busiri KBU16 is a straight door pull handle from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, made of brass and featuring an overall length of 390 mm with 320 mm fixing centres.

The design develops the distinctive Busiri theme on a larger scale: a hexagonal geometry softened by curved transitions and rounded reliefs. Its substantial proportions make it particularly suitable for timber entrance doors, large classical doors and period-style architectural joinery.

Busiri KBU16 develops the characteristic Busiri design into a larger pull handle format. Its basic hexagonal structure is softened by curved transitions and rounded reliefs, creating a balanced relationship between geometric definition and traditional decoration.

Fixed pull handle

KBU16 is a fixed pull handle: it provides a substantial grip for opening or closing the door and does not directly operate the lock mechanism.

The product is supplied complete with single through-fixing hardware and internal cover nuts. Back-to-back installations require the appropriate dedicated fixing system.

Traditional Italian craftsmanship

Busiri belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range dedicated to the reinterpretation of historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional casting and finishing methods with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.

Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the handcrafted character of the collection.

Finishes and natural ageing

Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling, exposure and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, gradually oxidises and develops its characteristic surface patina.
