Colombo Design Busiri KBU26: 269.5 mm brass pull handle

Busiri KBU26 is a straight door pull handle from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, made of brass and featuring an overall length of 269.5 mm with 230 mm fixing centres.

The design retains the distinctive Busiri character: a hexagonal geometry softened by curved transitions and rounded reliefs. Its more compact proportions compared with KBU16 make it suitable for doors requiring a traditional pull handle with reduced overall dimensions.

Busiri KBU26 retains the characteristic geometry of the Busiri series, with a basic hexagonal structure softened by curved transitions and rounded reliefs. This creates a balanced relationship between clear geometry and traditional decorative detailing.

At 269.5 mm overall length with 230 mm fixing centres, KBU26 is the more compact alternative to the 390 mm Busiri KBU16 and is particularly suitable for timber doors, classical interiors and restoration projects where a smaller pull handle is preferred.

Fixed pull handle

KBU26 is a fixed pull handle: it provides a grip for opening or closing the door and does not directly operate the lock mechanism.

The product is supplied for single through-fixing. Back-to-back installations require the appropriate dedicated fixing system.

Traditional Italian craftsmanship

Busiri belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range dedicated to the reinterpretation of historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional casting and finishing methods with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.

Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the handcrafted character of the collection.

Finishes and natural ageing

Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling, exposure and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, gradually oxidises and develops its characteristic surface patina.
