Barocco KBA16 combines curved forms, relief work and sculpted transitions inspired by decorative hardware traditionally used on important classical doors. Its 300 mm overall length gives the handle sufficient presence for large door leaves without losing the characteristic refinement of the Barocco series.
The design is particularly suited to timber entrance doors, period properties and restoration projects where architectural hardware is intended to remain a visible part of the door design.
KBA16 is a fixed pull handle: it provides a grip for opening or closing the door and does not directly operate the lock mechanism.
The handle is supplied without the fixing kit. Depending on the installation, it can be combined with the PS single through-fixing kit or the PA back-to-back fixing kit. Door thickness and construction should therefore be checked before ordering.
Barocco belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection, a Made in Italy range dedicated to the reinterpretation of historic architectural hardware. Its manufacture combines traditional casting and finishing techniques with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing.
Slight porosity, texture or minor surface variations may occur as a natural consequence of these traditional processes and are consistent with the handcrafted character of the collection.
The product page offers bronze, natural brass and natural unlacquered silver finishes.
Natural untreated metal surfaces may gradually change in colour and appearance through handling, exposure and ageing. Natural unlacquered brass, in particular, gradually oxidises and develops its characteristic surface patina.
