De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2C9ITH 90° high-temperature inspection elbow G50

The De Marinis P2C9ITH 90° high-temperature inspection elbow is an ISO 25 PLUS G50 component designed to provide both a 90° change in direction and direct access to the internal flue for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.

Unlike the standard P2C9 elbow, the P2C9ITH includes an integrated inspection opening, allowing easier access to the internal area of the elbow.

This configuration is intended for applications requiring an inspection arrangement compatible with the high-temperature operating configuration of the ISO 25 PLUS system.

The P2C9ITH features an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA stainless-steel outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.

It is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.

What the P2C9ITH is used for

The P2C9ITH is used where a 90° flue directional change is required together with a dedicated inspection point directly on the elbow.

This allows easier access for:

• visual inspection;
• removal of combustion deposits;

• routine maintenance.

Difference between P2C9 and P2C9ITH

• P2C9: standard 90° elbow;
• P2C9ITH: 90° elbow with high-temperature inspection access.

The P2C9ITH is therefore the preferred configuration where maintenance access is required directly at the directional change.

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm clearance from combustible materials in the certified De Marinis configuration.

Important: G50 applies only to the certified ISO 25 PLUS configuration installed according to De Marinis instructions.

How to read the technical drawing

• Øi: nominal internal flue diameter;
• Øe: external diameter of the insulated twin-wall system;
• A: main overall dimension of the inspection elbow;
• B: secondary overall dimension;
• 90°: directional change relative to the original flue axis;
• inspection opening: dedicated access for cleaning and maintenance.

Installation

The P2C9ITH must be installed according to the correct system orientation while keeping the inspection opening fully accessible.

The elbow and connected sections must be adequately supported to prevent excessive mechanical loads from being transferred to the fitting.

The 90° change in direction must be considered when sizing the complete flue system, particularly with regard to pressure losses and total route development.

Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with De Marinis technical documentation, appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
