De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2CC rain cap terminal G50
The De Marinis P2CC rain cap is the Chinese-style terminal for the ISO 25 PLUS G50 insulated twin-wall flue system.
It is installed at the top of the chimney to help protect the flue opening from direct rainfall while allowing combustion products to discharge through the perimeter opening below the upper cover.
The P2CC is compatible with the ISO 25 PLUS construction featuring an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA stainless-steel outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.
It is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.

What the P2CC is used for
The P2CC is installed at the top of the chimney and primarily protects the flue opening from direct precipitation.
Its geometry helps to:
- protect the flue opening from rainfall;
- reduce direct entry of snow and precipitation;
- maintain a perimeter opening for flue-gas discharge;
- complete the terminal section of the ISO 25 PLUS system.
Chinese-style rain cap
The term Chinese-style cap refers to the traditional circular upper cover with a diameter larger than the flue below.
The upper cover shields the vertical opening while leaving a perimeter space for flue gases to escape.
De Marinis identifies the diameter of the upper cover with dimension Ød.

The P2CC belongs to the De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS insulated twin-wall flue system.

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm clearance from combustible materials in the certified De Marinis system configuration.

How to read the technical drawing
- Øi: nominal internal flue diameter;
- Øe: external diameter of the insulated twin-wall system;
- H: overall terminal height, 250 mm;
- Ød: diameter of the upper rain-protection cover.
Installation
The P2CC must be installed as the upper terminal of the chimney according to the correct assembly direction and De Marinis instructions.
The terminal position must allow proper discharge of combustion products and comply with the required chimney outlet heights and applicable installation rules.
Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with De Marinis technical documentation, appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
