De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2C05 5° twin-wall elbow G50

The De Marinis P2C05 5° elbow is an ISO 25 PLUS G50 component designed to create small offsets and minor alignment corrections in insulated twin-wall flue systems.

Its limited 5° angle allows the flue axis to be adjusted with only a minimal change in direction.

The P2C05 follows the ISO 25 PLUS construction, featuring an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA stainless-steel outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.

It is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.

What the P2C05 is used for

The P2C05 is used where the flue axis requires a very small directional correction.

Typical uses include:

  • compensating minor misalignment;
  • avoiding small structural obstacles;
  • adapting the flue path to building geometry;
  • creating a very limited offset without using a steeper elbow.

P2C05 and other ISO 25 PLUS elbows

  • P2C9: 90° elbow.

The P2C05 therefore provides the smallest directional change in the range.

The P2C05 belongs to the De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS insulated twin-wall flue system.

The high-temperature designation is:

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm clearance from combustible materials in the certified manufacturer configuration.

Important: G50 applies only to the certified ISO 25 PLUS configuration installed in accordance with De Marinis instructions.

How to read the technical drawing

  • Øi: nominal internal flue diameter;
  • Øe: external diameter of the insulated twin-wall system;
  • A: main elbow overall dimension;
  • B: offset generated by the elbow;
  • 5°: deviation angle from the flue axis.

Installation

The P2C05 must be installed according to the correct system orientation and the flue layout specified by the design.

Where several elbows are combined to create an offset, the overall geometry must be checked using the relevant angles, dimensions and any straight sections installed between the elbows.

Connected sections must be adequately supported to prevent excessive mechanical loads from being transferred to the elbow.

Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with De Marinis technical documentation, appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
