De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2T9 90° twin-wall tee G50

The De Marinis P2T9 90° tee is a component of the ISO 25 PLUS G50 insulated twin-wall flue system, designed to create a 90° perpendicular branch connection to the main chimney.

It can be used where a connecting flue, branch or other system section needs to enter the main vertical flue from the side.

The P2T9 follows the ISO 25 PLUS construction, featuring an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.

It is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.

What the P2T9 is used for

The P2T9 is designed to create a 90° side connection to the main chimney.

Typical applications include connecting an appliance flue pipe laterally to a vertical chimney or creating a perpendicular branch specified by the flue design.

Depending on the installation, the lower section of the tee may also be combined with the appropriate ISO 25 PLUS inspection or condensate drainage component.

P2T9 90° tee versus P2T4 45° branch

• P2T9: 90° perpendicular tee connection;
• P2T4: 45° inclined tee branch.

The P2T9 provides a direct side connection where installation geometry requires a perpendicular branch.

The P2T4 provides a more gradual change in flue-gas direction.

Important: G50 is a classification of the complete certified ISO 25 PLUS system and should not be interpreted as an independent clearance rating of the P2T9 tee alone.

• Øi: nominal internal flue diameter;
• Øe: external diameter of the insulated twin-wall system;
• Hu: overall usable tee height;
• A: main lateral branch dimension;
• B: secondary overall dimension;
• I: joint depth, 45 mm;
• 90°: branch angle relative to the main flue axis.

Installation

The P2T9 must be installed according to the correct system orientation and the flue layout specified by the design.

Connected flue sections must be properly supported to prevent structural loads from being transferred incorrectly to the tee.

Where the lower branch is used as an inspection or condensate collection point, it must be completed using the appropriate ISO 25 PLUS component specified for the installation.

Inspection, cleaning and maintenance points must remain accessible.
