The De Marinis P2C9 90° elbow is an ISO 25 PLUS G50 component designed to create a 90° directional change in insulated twin-wall flue systems.
Its geometry allows the flue route to change direction sharply, making it suitable where the chimney needs to transition from a vertical to a horizontal section, from horizontal to vertical, or where the route must be adapted to the available building space.
The P2C9 is manufactured with an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA stainless-steel outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.
It is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.
The P2C9 is used where the flue route requires a 90° directional change.
Depending on the system design, it can be used to:
A 90° elbow creates a more significant change in direction than 5°, 15°, 30° or 45° elbows.
Its use should therefore be considered in the overall flue design, taking into account pressure losses, cleaning access and the operating requirements of the connected appliance.
Design note: the number and position of elbows should be determined according to appliance requirements, chimney sizing and applicable installation rules.
The P2C9 belongs to the De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS insulated twin-wall flue system.
The high-temperature designation is:

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm clearance from combustible materials in the certified De Marinis system configuration.
Important: G50 applies only to the certified ISO 25 PLUS configuration installed according to De Marinis instructions.
The ISO 25 PLUS system is CE marked according to EN 1856-1:2009.

The P2C9 must be installed according to the correct flue orientation and the system layout specified by the design.
The elbow and connected sections must be adequately supported to prevent excessive structural loads from being transferred to the fitting.
The 90° change in direction must be considered when sizing the complete flue system, particularly with regard to pressure losses, route length and accessibility for cleaning and maintenance.
Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with De Marinis technical documentation, appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
