De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2RCU twin-wall to single-wall adaptor G50

The De Marinis P2RCU twin-wall to single-wall adaptor is an ISO 25 PLUS G50 component designed to create the outlet transition from an insulated twin-wall flue to a single-wall flue section.

It allows an ISO 25 PLUS section to terminate and continue with a compatible single-wall component while maintaining the same nominal internal diameter.

The ISO 25 PLUS side features an AISI 316L BA stainless-steel inner wall, an AISI 304 BA stainless-steel outer wall and 25 mm blown mineral wool insulation.

The P2RCU is available in nominal internal diameters Ø80, 100, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.

What the P2RCU is used for

The P2RCU is used where an ISO 25 PLUS insulated twin-wall flue needs to transition to a single-wall flue section.

Typical applications include:

• terminating an insulated twin-wall section;
• continuing with a compatible single-wall component;
• creating a controlled transition between two different flue constructions;
• avoiding improvised or non-system adaptations.

Twin-wall to single-wall transition

The ISO 25 PLUS system has an external diameter 50 mm greater than the nominal internal diameter due to its twin-wall construction and 25 mm insulation.

The P2RCU provides the geometric transition to the single-wall section while maintaining the same nominal internal diameter.

Important: the connected single-wall section must not automatically be considered G50. Its clearance from combustible materials must be determined according to the relevant product certification, manufacturer instructions and applicable regulations.

P2RCU and P2RCI transition fittings

• P2RCU: outlet transition from ISO 25 PLUS twin wall to single wall;
• P2RCI: transition fitting used in the opposite direction according to the manufacturer's system configuration.

The correct fitting must be selected according to the required installation direction.

ISO 25 PLUS and G50 classification

The P2RCU belongs to the De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS insulated twin-wall flue system.

The high-temperature system designation is:

T600-N1-W-V2-L50040/050/060-G50

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm combustible-material clearance in the certified ISO 25 PLUS system configuration.

Important: G50 applies to the certified ISO 25 PLUS configuration. After the transition to single wall, the clearance requirements of the connected single-wall system must be followed.

P2RCU dimensions and De Marinis product codes

Dimensional note: De Marinis currently publishes Øi, Øe and H for P2RCU. Height H is 185 mm for all variants. No dimensions from the previous ISO 25 range have been added where they are not shown in the current ISO 25 PLUS table.

How to read the technical drawing

• Øi: nominal internal diameter of the ISO 25 PLUS section;
• Øe: external diameter of the insulated twin-wall section;
• H: overall adaptor height, 185 mm;
• twin-wall side: connection to the ISO 25 PLUS system;
• single-wall side: outlet for the compatible single-wall flue section.

Installation

The P2RCU must be installed according to the correct De Marinis installation direction and the compatibility of the connected single-wall component must be checked.

The transition point must be located in a position suitable for both the insulated and non-insulated sections of the flue system.

Special attention must be paid to combustible clearances: after the transition, the requirements of the connected single-wall flue must be followed.

Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with De Marinis technical documentation, appliance instructions and applicable regulations.
